Last year All Industrial’s controls specialist, inside salesman Craig Kehne, retired to focus on his cancer treatment.
Interested in catching up with Craig? He would love your company!
A few days ago Alex, his wife Elyse and the AIES warehouse team helped Craig move into his new home, Eden Villa in the Laurel Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.
We are confident Craig will receive the best care in Eden Villa. He has already made quite the impression on the staff and residents. “The lady next door,” he recalled, “the first time she saw me, said ‘you’re going to be a loud one, aren’t you?’
“Some of the residents have led very interesting lives,” he said. “We play bingo, Jeopardy, aerobics. … We’re thinking about having a weekly poker game.”
When he isn’t socializing, Craig volunteers as a deacon for his church. He’s learning how to play cribbage with a parishioner.
Even though he is no longer in the office, Craig is still very involved in the AIES family. “I still get the flyers and brochures that most people don’t read,” he said. “I send feedback to the manufacturer.” He also reviews our promotional newsletters and is putting together an educational column for our internal communications.
Alex’s wife Elyse has been instrumental in his move to Eden Villa, fixing it up so it feels more like home. He also spends Sunday evenings with our accounts payable manager, Jessica Pignati, and her family to have dinner and watch football. Fellow AIES retiree Tom Jones (our former warehouse manager), visits Craig every week.
Drop by Eden Villa and let Craig know how you’re doing. If you call in advance and visit during the home’s meal times (breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to noon, and dinner from 5 to 6 p.m.), the staff will fix a plate for you at no charge to you or Craig.
You can reach Craig at firstname.lastname@example.org or (415) 875-9473. He looks forward to hearing from you!
